About ENVIRA 2020 Summer School on Environmental Radioactivity
This ENVIRA2020 Summer School is the first in a series of ENVIRA Summer School activities. It is mainly intended for doctoral students and open to applicants from universities and other research institutions. It consists of plenary lectures delivered by prominent scientists and is organized in series of several courses on the following topics.
• Atmospheric Radioactivity • Terrestrial and Marine Radioactivity • Natural and Anthropogenic Radionuclides • Transport of Radionuclides in the Environment • Radionuclides as Tracers of Environmental Processes • Modelling of Environmental Processes • Radioecology and Dose Assessment • Radionuclides in Climate Change StudiesThe official language of the school is English. Appropriate English in understanding and speaking is therefore required. Students will present during the school posters describing their scientific activities (not compulsory).
